Borgata-Maxim Party Heats Up Summer

ATLANTIC CITY, New Jersey – As reported by the Press of Atlantic City: "The Borgata Hotel Casino & Spa and Maxim magazine's multimillion-dollar music festival and weekend party, known as 'Fantasy Island,' moved recently beyond a regional event and started attracting national attention.

"Tickets have been sold nationwide and hotel rooms have been booked by people coming from across the country for the June 26-27 event, which will see nine outdoor acres of the Borgata's property split evenly between a 6,000-person-capacity concert venue and an entertainment area with four different themes for this rain-or-shine festival.

"CNN, the E! entertainment network and the nationally syndicated TV shows 'Access Hollywood' and 'Entertainment Tonight' contacted the Los Angeles offices of Dennis Publishing about covering the event, Larry Mullin, executive vice president of Borgata, said after a 'Fantasy Island' presentation Thursday.

"…The festival's hosts will be Kim Smith, a model and actress in the movies 'Van Wilder' and the upcoming 'Catwoman,' and Amber Brkich and Rob "Boston Rob" Mariano from the reality-TV show 'Survivor.'…"
