Blue Sky Casino, LLC appoints Chris Leininger COO of French Lick Resort Casino

Leininger has been instrumental in bringing 1,200 new jobs to the resort and casino, as well as hundreds of additional construction and civil service jobs to Orange County.

Only two months after opening, the resort's hiring initiatives have been recognized for creating the greatest quarterly drop in unemployment in the state.

Chris' visionary leadership and operational expertise have been evident since he first joined the project 14 months ago," said Mark Bommarito, vice president of sales and marketing. "With this expansion of his responsibilities, French Lick Resort Casino will be on par for the successful completion of Phase II, which includes the re-opening of the West Baden Springs Hotel."

Prior to joining the executive team at French Lick Resort Casino, Leininger served as general manager for Trump Casino and Hotel in Gary, Ind. Previously, he was vice president of finance for Harrah's Casino and Hotel in East Chicago, Ind., and vice president of operations at Emerald Casino in Rosemont, Ill. Leininger has also served as director of finance for Blue Chip Casino in Michigan City, Ind., and controller for Harrah's Lake Tahoe in Stateline, Nev.
