Blackpool Casino Bid Faces Legal Challenge

BLACKPOOL, England – As reported by the BBC: "The company which runs Blackpool's largest amusement arcade is launching a legal challenge against the town's bid for a super casino licence.

"The Noble Organisation, owners of Coral Island, has begun High Court legal action, claiming the development is contrary to local planning guidelines.

"The Casino Advisory Panel will decide by the end of the year which of the six UK towns will get the casino licence.

"It will meet in Blackpool on Friday to hear from supporters and opposers…"
