Black Oak Casino Close for Transition5 January 2005TUOLUMNE, California – (PRESS RELEASE) -- Black Oak Casino will be temporarily shutting its doors for the first time since opening in May 2001. The closing will be for 48-hours starting on Monday, January 10 and Tuesday, January 11 while Casino employees and construction crewmembers make the transition to the new Phase II building. The main gaming floor of the All-New Black Oak Casino will open on Wednesday evening, January 12. The official grand opening celebration of Phase II at Black Oak Casino is scheduled for Monday, March 7, 2005! To minimize any inconvenience, the Tuolumne Band of Me-Wuk Indians and Casino management are inviting Casino patrons to try out the new Black Oak Casino main gaming floor starting on the evening of Wednesday, January 12th. This all-new action-packed gaming floor will feature 940 slot machines, 24 table games, a 24-hour buffet/cafe, a non-smoking gaming area with a non-smoking bar, an entertainment lounge, and the Players Club. The 1st floor featuring family entertainment is scheduled to open on Wednesday, January 19th. Scheduled to open in February, the third floor will feature Seven Sisters, a specialty dining restaurant. Black Oak Casino and the Tuolumne Band of Me-Wuk Indians wish to thank their guests for their patience while they make the transition to a bigger and better casino.
