Biloxi Casino Hearing Set

BILOXI, Mississippi -- As reported by the Biloxi Sun Herald: "The City Council will hold a public meeting on May 24 about a new casino project in Biloxi.

"In a unanimous vote on April 22, the Biloxi Planning Commission approved the first phase of Golden Gulf Casino's master plan. It also unanimously recommended rezoning about 1.3 acres for casinos at the northwest corner of Crawford Street and Back Bay Boulevard.

"…Councilman George Lawrence asked the council to hold a public hearing after hearing from several residents in the area who had questions about the project…"
