Big Blues Bender to perform at Hard Rock Las Vegas30 August 2019(PRESS RELEASE) -- Big Blues Bender, the 6th annual only-in-Vegas hotel takeover at the Hard Rock Hotel & Casino - Las Vegas will host One Night on Yasgur's Farm, a celebration of the 50th anniversary of the legendary music festival that took place on Max Yasgur’s dairy farm, on Sunday, 8 September 2019. Fifty years ago, a sleepy corner of upstate New York played host to one of the most important events in music history. In this year's installment of the legendary "One" series, Grammy Award nominee Victor Wainwright and his group of Bender All-Stars will pay tribute to the generation-defining musical experience. Dozens of Big Blues Bender artists and special guests will perform together on stage for one night to take festivalgoers back to Yasgur's farm in a celebration of peace, love and music. Single-day tickets are available for purchase day of show at the Hard Rock Hotel & Casino box office or in advance online, giving Blues fans the opportunity to see the biggest names in Blues at an intimate venue held in the “Entertainment Capital of the World.” Limited four-day tickets, VIP and “Big Daddy Baller” packages are also available for purchase through Wednesday, 4 September. Tickets begin at $125 and are subject to additional taxes and fees. Big Blues Bender has become a festival favorite among Blues fans and artists alike, making it a “bucket list” event for all who attend. Attracting fans from all 50 states and more than a dozen countries, the annual sell out event features the most talented and sought-after Blues artists touring today, performing on multiple stages with everything an elevator ride away. As the Blues’ most artist-friendly festival, the Bender will once again feature its popular fundraising event “Bender Party with HART!” on Wednesday, 4 September. Featuring a star-studded musical review and live auction, the event benefits the H.A.R.T. (Handy Artist Relief Trust) Fund.The Blues Foundation established the H.A.R.T. Fund for Blues musicians and their families in financial need due to a broad range of health concerns impacting artists. The Fund provides for acute, chronic and preventive medical and dental care as well as funeral and burial expenses. Big Blues Bender proudly produces the “Bender Party with HART!” at no expense to the charity. All production costs and artist fees are paid for by Big Blues Bender so that 100-percent of the proceeds benefit the community of artists in need, totaling more than $100,000 raised to date. |
