Big Blues Bender announces additional performers

27 January 2020

(PRESS RELEASE) -- The 7th annual Big Blues Bender is shaping up to be the most electrifying yet, with additional performers confirmed for the highly-anticipated Las Vegas-based music festival. Grammy Award-winning band The Allman Betts Band and Grammy nominee Christone "Kingfish” Ingram will join the lineup of headlining acts at the four-day destination festival. The group of newly-added, top-notch performers also includes Jimmy Hall, Jimmy Carpenter Band, Leon Blue, Steve Marriner and Kat Riggins.

This only-in-Vegas hotel takeover event will take place 10-13 September 2020 at Westgate Las Vegas Resort & Casino, giving fans the opportunity to see the biggest names in Blues music in an exclusive, intimate setting over the course of four days in the “Entertainment Capital of the World.” Tickets are now on sale online.

The newly-added artists join an already stellar lineup of previously announced performers, including: Buddy Guy, Delbert McClinton, Jonny Lang, Tab Benoit, North Mississippi Allstars, Victor Wainwright & The Train, One for The Kings, Bettye LaVette, Mike Zito and His Big Blues Band, Colin James, Jon Cleary & The Absolute Monster Gentlemen, Albert Castiglia Band, Southern Avenue, Bender Brass Band, Mike Zito and Friends: A Tribute to Chuck Berry, Chris Cain, JP Soars and The Red Hots, Carolyn Wonderland, Sugaray Rayford, Blues Beatles, JP Soars' Gypsy Blue Revue feat. Anne Harris & Jason Ricci, Johnny Sansone, Monster Mike Welch, Jason Ricci, Dwayne Dopsie and the Zydeco Hellraisers, Kevin Burt, Jerron "Blind Boy" Paxton, Anne Harris, Lindsay Beaver, Catfish John "Grateful Blues" feat. Albert Castiglia, Sunday Gospel feat. Sugaray Rayford & Friends and Cary Morin.

Big Blues Bender features four days and four nights of music and accommodations, with “Everything, An Elevator Ride Away.” Big Blues Bender has become a festival favorite among Blues fans and artists alike, making it a “bucket list” event for all who attend. Attracting fans from all 50 states and more than a dozen countries, the annual sell out event features the most talented and sought-after Blues artists touring today, performing on multiple stages all within an elevator’s ride away.
