Bicycle Casino Holds Party for Children

BELL GARDENS, California – (PRESS RELEASE) -- The Bicycle Casino continued its long-standing philanthropic tradition with its annual Children's Christmas Party for over 1800 under-privileged children from the surrounding community! Probably one of its most elaborate and well-known charitable projects, the 20th annual Children's Christmas Party was held on Wednesday, December 22nd at The Bicycle Casino.

The staff worked tirelessly to put together a day of fun and enjoyment dedicated to under-privileged children throughout the surrounding communities. Set in a carnival-type atmosphere, this year's event included rides, games, an inflatable slide, a Christmas train, a DJ, clowns, pony rides and a day of fun for the kids. Radio Disney was on hand to distribute prizes and host contests.

All the children invited were given a Build-A-Bear, goodies and a hosted lunch.

This was a ticketed event limited to children who were qualified by the local Montebello school district. In addition, a limited number of tickets were given to the Rio Hondo Boys and Girls Club, Rancho Los Amigos Hospital, the Sonshine Youth Organization, and the Lions Club.

Managing Partner, Haig Kelegian, said, "This is an event we eagerly anticipate every year. The holidays are a wonderful opportunity for us to give back to our community. We are proud to be able to make a difference to those who are less fortunate and we hope that our efforts will allow these families to enjoy their holidays just a bit more!"

The press was invited to come and share some real Christmas joy with the children and their parents.

Bicycle Casino employee, Christina Garcia, said, "My daughter could not have been more excited to have been there; balloons, toys, Santa and popcorn ... what more could she have asked for!"
