Betting bill passes South Australian parliament26 November 2008SOUTH AUSTRALIA -- As reported by ABC News: "A bill which the Government says will protect South Australia's racing industry from financial disadvantage has passed State Parliament. "The Government says the legislation will enable the three racing codes to receive money from operators which take or facilitate betting on SA races. SA Gambling Minister Carmel Zollo says the Government had to act because New South Wales changed its laws..." |
