BetCRIS launches Elite Benefits loyalty program with dealt rake method of calculating rewards

1 August 2012

SAN JOSE, Costa Rica -- (PRESS RELEASE) -- BetCRIS continues to conquer the online poker market. One month after launching its revolutionary progressive points race called "The Beast," the online poker site has launched a new loyalty program -Elite Benefits- that solidifies the company as a major force.

Elite Benefits comes with a host of rewards for every real-money online poker player, but perhaps the biggest draw for grinders is how BetCRIS calculates points to determine a player's loyalty status. The online poker site uses the dealt rake method to calculate points, a system that's been abandoned by competitors.

"We're all about treating players better than any other poker site, and our Elite Benefits program is proof of that," stated BetCRIS spokesman Michael Harris. "We're poker players too, and we read the forums and talk to poker players across the country every day. This is what's missing from the online poker market. This is what everyone's been asking for. We're happy to deliver it."

Elite Benefits is designed to put more money in more players' pockets than any other rewards program. The second a poker player starts to play for real money at BetCRIS, they'll become a part of Elite Benefits. There are six tiers to the program — Bronze, Silver, Gold, Platinum, Diamond and Black Diamond.

To move up in the program, online poker players must earn a predetermined number of Benefit Points per month. While earning Benefit Points, poker players will also earn Player Points, which can be swapped for things like tournament entries, poker vacations, merchandise, and soon to be released the BetCRIS online store.

As poker players move up in rank, they're given access to even more store rewards, and they'll earn special bonuses worth thousands in cash. Chief among the benefits are:

• Up to $138,000 in yearly cash rewards.
• High-end electronics.
• Tickets to Live Events.
• Poker merchandise.
• Access to exclusive freerolls.

BetCRIS uses the Dealt Rake methodology to calculate Benefit Points. That means every player is rewarded Benefit Points at the same rate — regardless of whether they contributed $10 or $0.50 in rake to a pot.
