Ben Bailey to perform at Cherokee Casino & Hotel24 July 2018(PRESS RELEASE) -- Before he got behind the wheel of the “Cash Cab” on Discovery Channel, Ben Bailey began his career as a stand-up comedian and found his true calling. On 4 August, Bailey brings his comedy tour to the Qualla Ballroom inside Cherokee Casino & Hotel West Siloam Springs. Doors open at 8 p.m. Bailey begins the show at 9 p.m. Tickets are $15 and available now on the casino’s website and at the hotel front desk. As a young man, Bailey left his home in a small town in New Jersey and headed to Los Angeles to pursue his dream of a career in show business. He found himself onstage at The Comedy Store on Sunset Strip and knew right away he had found his calling. He returned to the East Coast and quickly became a crowd favorite at the clubs in New York City. He has since performed at clubs and theaters around the world. The comedian and TV host has headlined at the major festivals Just for Laughs in Montreal and Chicago, and The Edinburgh Fringe Festival. On Bailey’s six-time Daytime Emmy award-winning game show “Cash Cab,” the funnyman picks up unsuspecting passengers on the streets of New York City. They then answer trivia questions with cash prizes, until they reach their destination. As a twist to the newest version of the show, passengers team up with guest celebrities who help them rack up the cash. |
