Belterra Park Gaming to host one-year anniversary celebration30 April 2015(PRESS RELEASE) -- Belterra Park Gaming & Entertainment Center will celebrate its one-year anniversary with three days of exciting events beginning Thursday, April 30. Rock & Roses Thursday, April 30: The celebration begins with the "Rock and Roses" live outdoor concert Thursday, April 30, featuring rock 'n' roll legends .38 Special at 7:30 p.m. Tickets are now on sale and can be purchased at www.belterrapark.com. Doors for the show will open at 6:30 p.m. and the show will go on rain or shine. All ages are welcome to attend. Bourbon & Oaks Friday, May 1: Belterra Park will host the opening day of its live thoroughbred horse racing season at 3 p.m. Friday, May 1, 2015. Live racing will be held every Thursday, Friday, Saturday and Sunday through October 11, 2015. Racing fans will also have the chance to wager on the Kentucky Oaks Stakes Race at Belterra Park beginning at 10 a.m. Belterra Park will also show the running of the Kentucky Oaks simulcast at approximately 5:45 p.m. Special live racing viewing opportunities will be available throughout the day including the outdoor beer garden for $30, which includes a private cash bar, BBQ buffet and select seating. All guests will also have the chance to enjoy a free live outdoor concert featuring Cincinnati's own The Menus at 7:30 p.m. Run for the Roses Saturday, May 2: Belterra Park will celebrate the Kentucky Derby Saturday, May 2, with wagering available beginning at 8 a.m. Live racing will continue at Belterra Park from 1:45 - 6 p.m., followed by the showing of the Kentucky Derby at approximately 6:30 p.m. Guests will have the option to view the race in Belterra Park's exclusive beer garden featuring a private cash bar, BBQ buffet, select seating, and VIP wagering for $75. In addition, a Derby Hat contest will be held throughout the day, with music at the Grand Stand and Stadium restaurant beginning at 7 p.m. and 8 p.m. respectively.
