Belterra Casino Reopens12 January 2005INDIANA -- As reported by 9 News: "Belterra Casino in southeast Indiana has reopened, one day after floodwaters forced the Vevay business to close its doors. "The casino's ramp couldn't handle the water's fluctuation. "Casino officials say while the shut-down does hurt business, at least it was on a Monday, which is one of the slower days. "A marine crew and Belterra's facilities crew worked non-stop stabilizing the ramp so the casino could reopen as soon as possible..." |
