Beer Park gears up for Kentucky Derby party

23 April 2019

(PRESS RELEASE) -- Don your Derby seersucker and hats, Beer Park at Paris Las Vegas will host a rooftop viewing party for the Kentucky Derby starting at 9 a.m. on Saturday, 4 May. A trumpet player will sound the horn to start the races, known as “the most exciting two minutes of sports,” adding to the fanfare of some of the race day’s favorite traditions, including mint juleps, complimentary champagne, themed decor and Kentucky Hot Brown sandwiches.

The popular bar and grill will show the highly anticipated 145th annual Derby on dozens of high-definition TVs, with viewing available from every seat in the venue. Live betting will be available at the venue’s in-house sportsbook, one of just a few places in Las Vegas outside of casino sports books to offer live betting. Beer Park offer complimentary glasses of Veuve Clicquot Champagne to the first 30 guests who arrive in derby attire and prizes to the guests who correctly guess the winning horse.

With a spin on the Derby tradition, Beer Park will offer a mint julep bar, serving the popular cocktail with mint leaves, powdered sugar and whiskey. For an authentic Derby experience, BEER PARK will have its very own bugler perform the iconic ‘Boots and Saddles’ bugle call with a traditional herald trumpet.

Along with incredible views of the Fountains of Bellagio, Beer Park will offer Derby-inspired games, such as croquet and cornhole, as well as oversized yard games, including Jenga and Connect Four.
