Beau Rivage Appoints New President

12 October 2005

BILOXI, Mississippi –- (PRESS RELEASE) -- Beau Rivage Resort & Casino, a wholly owned subsidiary of MGM Mirage (NYSE: MGM), announced the appointment of George P. Corchis, Jr. as the resort's new president. He is responsible for all operations of the 1,740-room property.

Corchis' appointment as president marks his return to MGM Mirage where he previously served in a financial capacity with the Mirage Resort & Casino in the early 1990s.

"We are delighted to have George back with MGM Mirage," said Mirage Resorts President and CEO Bobby Baldwin. "His experience in the region provides invaluable insight, and his background and expertise will be instrumental in guiding Beau Rivage through reconstruction and the reopening of the property after the destruction caused by Hurricane Katrina. We are committed to rebuilding Beau Rivage and the Gulf Coast region, and adding George to our team is a key step in moving this process forward."

Most recently, Corchis served in a dual role for Harrah's Entertainment, Inc. as senior vice president and general manager of the Horseshoe Casino & Hotel and the Sheraton Casino & Hotel, both in Tunica, Miss. Prior to that, Corchis spent 11 years working for Jack Binion, and is the only executive to serve in key leadership positions at each of the three Horseshoe properties outside Nevada.

"I'm both thrilled and proud to once again become a member of the MGM MIRAGE team," said George Corchis, Beau Rivage president. "Beau Rivage is the crown jewel of the Gulf Coast gaming industry. I look forward to restoring and redeveloping this magnificent property and reaching even greater heights, making Beau Rivage the landmark destination of the Gulf Coast and the pride of Biloxi.

"I'm privileged to be working with an amazing team of dedicated employees whose commitment and perseverance in this unprecedented time in our history is nothing short of extraordinary," Corchis added.
