BC Lottery Numbers Up

BRITISH COLUMBIA – As reported by the Broadcast News: "There are some staggering numbers as the B.C. Lottery Corporation celebrates its 20th year of operations.

"President Vic Poleschuk says the corporation generated revenues of $330 million in its first year of operation in 1985.

"By this past year, that had grown to just over $2 billion.

"…Over twenty years, Poleschuk says the corporation has generated $7 billion in revenues to the province, with a further $8.3 billion doled out in prize money…"
