BC Lottery Head: No tolerance for criminals

BRITISH COLUMBIA – As reported by the CBC News: "More than 180 people were banned from B.C. casinos and gaming halls last year, some for criminal reasons, the president of the B.C. Lottery Corporation told the legislature's committee on Crown corporations on Tuesday.

"'Something as simple as theft of personal property to loan sharking activities,' Vic Poleschuk said. And also for potential breaches in policy. Some of those things might be just for causing a disturbance or otherwise.'

"…'We take an approach to have zero-tolerance for any criminal activity in our gaming facilities,' he told the committee…"
