BBC investigation alleges Fifa officials took bribes

LONDON, England -- Senior Fifa officials are believed to have taken bribes in the 1990's the BBC's Panorama program is reporting.

The Panorama investigation will be broadcast by the BBC tonight and alleges that three officials, took bribes during the 1990's from a sports marketing firm who were then awarded rights, but have subsequently gone bust.

The three officials will vote on upcoming World Cup bids for 2018 and 2022, neither Fifa nor the senior officials have responded to the Panorama allegations.

The program contends that the suspected bribes were seen in a confidential document that listed 175 payments to the tune of $100 million.
