Banker Blames Gambling Addiction for Fraud

FRANKLIN, Tennessee – As reported by the Associated Press: "A banker fired from Civitas BankGroup after an audit found apparent fraudulent transactions told a civic group that he has a gambling addiction, members of the group said.

"Jason Herrington, the son of Civitas CEO and president Richard Herrington, was fired Monday as investment officer and portfolio manager for the Franklin-based bank holding company.
