Bam Margera to host art show in Showboat's newest venue

9 May 2012

ATLANTIC CITY, N.J. -- (PRESS RELEASE) -- Skater, producer, director and artist Bam Margera is bringing his off-beat collection of art to Worship Surf Bar on May 18th for a unique art show not to be missed. The Viva la Bam and Jackass star, fresh off of his wildly successful show in Philadelphia, will personally host the open-to-the-public event.

“Bam’s art show is a new kind of event for Showboat,” said Howard Weiss, Regional Director of Nightlife Operations for Caesars Entertainment. “Worship Surf Bar has a unique vibe and guests are going to find a really new experience at this show.”

Margera’s art, a diverse offering of painting and mixed-media pieces, was born from repeated skateboard injuries that left him looking for new ways to create. His pieces, described as chaotic, were created both domestically and internationally on Bam’s travels and feature friends, women and quotes.

The show will feature over 20 of Bam’s unique pieces and will give fans an opportunity to mingle with the star. The Delaware County, PA native, who is known for traveling with large entourages, will most likely have his close friends and family in the venue supporting his show. For the hardcore fan, all pieces at the show will be for sale.

The art show will be held on the third floor of the Worship Surf Bar at Showboat. Doors will open at 10PM.

Worship Surf Bar, opened in early April, offers beach-goers and locals an after-beach hangout with a distinct surf vibe. The bar opens directly onto the famed Atlantic City Boardwalk and offers menu items from celebrity chef Aaron Sanchez.
