Bally's Shreveport celebrated 25th Anniversary with Responsible Gaming Initiatives in March

27 March 2025

(PRESS RELEASE) -- Bally's Shreveport, winner of Best Overall Casino in Strictly Slots Magazine and Best Casino in Casino Player Magazine, was proud to announce a series of events in conjunction with its 25th Anniversary and Responsible Gaming Month. On 20 March, approximately 45 members of Bally’s Shreveport management team participated in an awareness training session led by representatives from the Louisiana Association for Compulsive Gambling. The session highlighted the impact of the local Center of Recovery and the LACG Hotline.

As part of its commitment to responsible gaming, Bally’s Shreveport presented the Center of Recovery (CORE) with a $2,500 donation during the training session. The following day, March 21, LACG representatives provided an in-depth presentation and guided tour of the local call center, which answers calls for both the Louisiana Gambling hotline and the National hotline. Tony Rohrer - Bally’s Shreveport General Manager, Christie Tristan - Director of C&R Compliance, Tammi Henderson - Local Compliance Manager, and Kirsten DeMoss - Local Marketing Director were all on hand for the event, where Bally’s Shreveport also made a $2,500 donation to the LACG Call Center.

"At Bally’s Shreveport, we take our commitment to responsible gaming seriously,” said Roher. “Partnering with the Louisiana Association for Compulsive Gambling and supporting their vital resources, like the Center of Recovery and the LACG Hotline, is an essential part of our dedication to ensuring a safe and enjoyable experience for all guests. We are proud to contribute to their mission and continue fostering a gaming environment built on trust and responsibility."

In early March, Bally's Corporation launched its “Game in Good Hands" global responsible gaming initiative, emphasizing trust and responsibility in support of Problem Gaming Awareness Month. The campaign was promoted through both online and land-based casinos, utilizing signage, websites, and direct mail communications to reach customers.

Bally’s values trust and strives to provide best-in-class customer service along with transparent online and land-based offers. The company aims to deliver excellent user experience, whether on their websites or inside one of their casinos. Bally’s is also proud to have been shortlisted for several online industry awards, validating its brand position as a trustworthy place to play, complemented by positive customer feedback.
