Bally's Atlantic City fall concert lineup features a few kings, a queen and even a joker8 August 2012ATLANTIC CITY, N.J. -- (PRESS RELEASE) -- The activity on the casino floor isn’t the only thing heating up as Bally’s Atlantic City announced its spectacular, all-star fall lineup for Legends In Concert. The award-winning tribute show will treat fans to “The King,” “The King of Pop,” a “Queen of Disco” and even a practical joker, given Steven Tyler’s latest set of fast-food commercials. Tickets to the star-studded show are on sale now. Beginning Thursday, September 6, and running through Sunday, November 18, “The World’s Greatest Live Tribute Show” will dazzle audiences with artists performing high-energy and stirring tributes as Lady Gaga, Steven Tyler, Elvis Presley, Michael Jackson and Donna Summer. Performances will be held daily at 8pm Tuesday through Friday and Sunday, as well two Saturday shows at 7:30pm and 10pm, and a special matinee each Wednesday at 3pm. Tickets are now on sale for only $32.50 for adults and $16.25 for children plus service charges. Special group rates are also available. This incredible lineup pays tribute to the loving memory of the legendary Donna Summer, while also highlighting pop and music sensation Lady Gaga and rock legend and recent American Idol judge Steven Tyler. Combine that with Elvis Presley and Michael Jackson and you have another kind of dream team, a lineup with multiple gold and platinum albums. “This partnership has benefited Bally’s, Legends and most importantly the fans,” said Kevin Ortzman, Senior Vice President and General Manager for Bally’s and Showboat Atlantic City. “‘Legends In Concert’ has continued to captivate guests and deliver top-notch entertainment to Bally’s Atlantic City on a nightly basis. I’m extremely excited to see the Steven Tyler tribute and watch as this new cast dazzles audiences.” All performers sing with their own natural voices to a live band and accompanied by amazing dancers. The performances feature a brand-new state-of-the-art set and production elements including sound, lighting and signature video projection that replicates the iconic superstars featured in all Legends in Concert productions. Legends In Concert is the longest-running entertainment attraction in Atlantic City history and recently entered into a multi-year, multi-dimensional partnership with Bally’s Atlantic City. From the newly named Legends In Concert Theater (formerly The Palace Theater) with new seats, booths and cocktail tables, to special promotions and events featuring Legends performers, guests and visitors to Bally’s Atlantic City will find the Legends theme, brand and personality throughout the casino and hotel that’s always in the “Center of the Action.” A Legends Memorabilia Wall, highlighting the 30-year history of Legends and featuring special memorabilia including costumes, musical instruments, archival media and other items, is now up in the Bally’s lobby and a designated “Dealertainer” gaming pit sponsored by Legends In Concert on the casino floor is now open. |
