Bally Technologies wins six innovation awards19 February 2014LAS VEGAS, Nevada -- (PRESS RELEASE) -- Bally Technologies, Inc. (BYI) (“Bally”), a leader in gaming machines, table game products, casino-management systems, interactive applications, and networked and server-based systems for the global gaming industry, today announced that it won four of 10 awards in the ‘2014 Slot Floor Technology’ awards and took two spots in the annual ‘Top 20 Most Innovative Gaming Technology Products’ awards. With these latest honors, Bally has earned more than 80 awards for gaming innovation over the past four years. Bally’s Take ‘n Play, the ALPHA 2 Pro Series Wave, Super Slotline, and Power Progressives made the top 10 list in the eighth annual Slot Floor Technology Awards. No other gaming manufacturer had more than two spots on the list. In addition, Bally earned honors for the Pro Wave and Power Progressives in the 17th annual Top 20 Most Innovative Gaming Technology Products Awards. Three products from among the 20 finalists will win Platinum, Gold, and Silver awards at the Gaming Technology Conference in Las Vegas next month. Conference attendees will also vote for the Attendee’s Choice Award. Both awards competitions are judged by independent panels of judges including gaming and hospitality executives, gaming analysts, technology consultants, and other industry professionals. Take ‘n Play is the industry’s first technology that allows the same slot machine game to be played in more than one location by streaming the game content directly from the slot machine to a tablet. This product provides casinos with an easy, convenient solution for players who get up and leave their machine to smoke, use the restroom, or have to leave when their friend or partner is ready to move on. The ALPHA 2 Pro Series Wave is the industry’s first platform with a concave LCD monitor. The cabinet’s curved 40-inch touchscreen monitor brings a whole new look and feel to casino floors, while providing optimal viewing and increased interaction for players. Bally’s entire library of games for the Pro Series V22/22 and V32 can be played on the Wave. In addition, four additional titles have been developed specifically for the Wave to take advantage of its superior high-resolution gameplay.
