Bally Technologies installs Systems Solutions at new Big Jim's Gambling Hall & Saloon in Colorado

16 September 2011

LAS VEGAS, Nevada -- (PRESS RELEASE) -- Bally Technologies, Inc. (NYSE: BYI), a leader in slots, video machines, casino-management, server-based systems, and mobile applications for the global gaming industry, today announced the completion of a new systems installation at Big Jim’s Gambling Hall & Saloon in Cripple Creek, Colo.

“The SDS and CMP systems are enabling Big Jim’s to manage their player database in real time to deliver customizable marketing solutions and promotions to their loyal players”

“We’re excited to partner with Bally Technologies for the installation of Bally’s world-class systems products at our property,” said Kirk Saylor, Owner and Chief Financial Officer of Big Jim’s. “Bally is the best in the business, and that’s why we chose them for our systems solutions.”

The new Big Jim’s Casino, located in the historic Imperial Casino building in Cripple Creek, selected Bally’s SDS® Windows® and CMP™ 12 slot-management systems to manage 207 gaming machines and provide numerous slot accounting, reporting, and marketing functions.

Bally’s SDS Windows provides a competitive and scalable slot management system utilizing a modern scalable architecture. The SDS Windows solution delivers flexibility, easy maintainability, and horizontal and vertical scalability for any size of casino operation. This slot-accounting and player-tracking data collection system is an integrated information system that continually monitors slot machines, other gaming devices, and customer gaming activity. SDS offers superior single-wire functionality that works on new and older generation machines from a variety of manufacturers.

The CMP player-tracking system helps manage and evaluate the player database, and enables casinos to gather and track data, including a player’s favorite beverage and preferred language.

“The SDS and CMP systems are enabling Big Jim’s to manage their player database in real time to deliver customizable marketing solutions and promotions to their loyal players,” said Mark Wiedemer, Bally Technologies’ Director of Systems Sales for Bally. “This installation demonstrates that we have an innovative and industry-leading solution for casinos of all sizes.”
