B.C. to offer casino-style Internet gambling

The roll out by the BC Lottery Corporation of new online games coincides with a serious increase in the limit people can gamble, the report said.

The previous limit of $120 per week has been raised to $9,999, according to the Vancouver Sun.

The government wants to provide a "provincially regulated alternative to private websites," the report noted.
