B.C. police officer charged in casino theft20 April 2011VANCOUVER, BC -- An off duty police officer is facing charges after allegedly stealing a ticket from a slot machine, CBC News reported. The alleged theft occurred at River Rock Casino and the police officer is believed to have stolen a ticket that had been forgotten in a slot machine, the report said. The accused office Constable Nick Sharma works in the RCMP organized crime squad and will appear in court in late May, CBC News reported. |
