16 February 2011

VICTORIA, British Columbia -- The outcome of an investigation by the B.C privacy commissioner into the security of the British Columbia Lottery Corporation's online gambling website were revealed yesterday, according to CBC News.

The privacy commissioner Elizabeth Denham report showed security gaps when BCLC launched the website, the report said.

These security gaps permitted a situation which allowed some customers private information to become public, such glitches have now been rectified and the privacy commissioner declared the BCLC website "secure", CBC reported.
