B.C. deputy minister to head up gaming corporation10 June 2007VANCOUVER, B.C. -- As reported by the Canadian Press: "The B.C. Lottery Corporation has picked a top official from the office of Premier Gordon Campbell as interim president of the gaming agency. "Dana Hayden is the deputy minister of strategic policy in Campbell's office. She replaces Vic Poleschuk, who was fired after a report found too many lotto retailers were winning lottery prizes and there were lax controls over winning tickets. "Corporation chair John McLernon says Hayden will be responsible for helping implement the recommendations made in the Ombudsman's report, which called for tougher rules for vendors and closer scrutiny for lottery tickets..."
