Australian Scam Nets Thousands19 April 2005AUSTRALIA – As reported by the Australia Age: "A woman received more than $66,000 after she became involved in a scam to cheat on a roulette game at Melbourne's Crown Casino, the Victorian County Court was told today. "Deasy Widjaja (Deasy Widjaja), 28, of Melbourne, is accused of giving a Crown Casino employee a total of $6,000 to manually change the winning numbers in Rapid Roulette to the numbers she had wagered to allow her to win $66,675. "…Rapid Roulette, an electronic table game, is played the same way as traditional roulette except that players sit at an individual terminal and place bets on a touch screen…" |
