AUSTRALIA – As reported by the Australian Broadcasting Corporation: "Tasmania's Council of Social Service says federal Labor leader Mark Latham has correctly identified a major obstacle in solving problem gambling.

"Mr Latham says the states have addicted themselves to the revenue they get from gambling taxes and levies.
