Australia: Crown strike called off

The pay dispute that led to the threat of industrial action has been resolved, the report explained.

The union agreed to accept pay rises of 4 percent per year, over Crown's previously unacceptable offer of 3.75 percent, Big Pond reported.

This weekend, Caulfield Cup Day, is one of Crown's busiest, strike action threatened to cause chaos for the casino, Big Pond noted.
