Australia: Casino visitors targeted by thieves

PERTH, Australia -- Two recent handbag snatching incidents have police suggesting criminals may be targeting gamblers, ABC News reported.

Both incidents involved women who'd left the Burswood Casino, the report explained.

The women were followed to their front doors, where their handbags were snatched, ABC News said.

Police do not think the incidents are connected and may be the work of opportunistic, individual thieves, ABC News noted.
