Aurora Casino feeling pinch from Des Plaines

AURORA AND DES PLAINES, Illinois -- Aurora's Hollywood Casino is feeling the pinch from last July's arrival of the Rivers Casino in Des Plaines, The Beacon News reported.

Hollywood Casino saw revenue fall 11 percent in June 2012 compared to June 2011, the report said.

A drop in revenue at Hollywood Casino after the Des Plaines property opened wasn't entirely unexpected though, the Beacon News report noted.
