Aunt Mary Pat to perform at Rivers Casino Philadelphia11 October 2021(PRESS RELEASE) -- Mary Friggin’ Christmas, hun. Philly’s favorite aunt, Aunt Mary Pat, is returning to Rivers Casino Philadelphia this December with her hilarious holiday stand-up show in The Event Center on Wednesday, 8 December, at 7 p.m. Tickets are $20 and are on sale now at SJPComedy.com. This wildly popular show will feature Aunt Mary Pat’s powerful punch lines and quick wit. That’s not all — Aunt Mary Pat will also perform songs like "Twas’ the Night Before a Delco Christmas," "All I Need for Christmas Is Me," "Walking ‘round South Philly Actin’ grand" and more from her holiday album, "Mary Friggin Christmas." "We’re excited for Aunt Mary Pat’s return to Rivers with her hilarious holiday show this December," said Justin Moore, general manager of Rivers Casino Philadelphia. "She’s Philly through and through, and her take on classic Christmas songs will make for an entertaining night in The Event Center." The Delaware County viral video star, who last performed at Rivers Casino in September, describes her Aunt Mary Pat character show as a collection of stand-up comedy, improv and variety performance. Aunt Mary Pat’s performance is part of the casino’s hilarious and growing comedy lineup. In early 2019, Aunt Mary Pat released her debut comedy album "Talk of the Township," which ranked No. 5 on the iTunes comedy charts, and also featured three No. 1 iTunes comedy singles. She has since gone on to release a successful Christmas album called "Mary Friggin Christmas," and performed on her first national tour in 2020, called "The Fish Outta Wooder Tour." Other performances in The Event Center include Philly comedians Eleanor Kerrigan and Jimmy Shubert on Thursday, 21 October; jazz musicians Norman Brown and Euge Groove on Friday, 22 October; rock bands Great White and Slaughter on Friday, 29 October; comedian Chuck Nice on Thursday, 18 November; jazz performers Najee, Michael Lington and Paul Taylor on Friday, 26 November; and Philly prankster Ed Bassmaster on Friday, 5 November, at 8 p.m. |
