Atlantic City's hotel occupancy rate hanging strong while profit dips25 November 2013ATLANTIC CITY, New Jersey -- Overall gross gambling profits may be down in Atlantic City but people are still checking into hotels, the Press of Atlantic City reported. Atlantic City casinos saw a 91 percent occupancy rate in a quarter which saw profit fall 23 percent, the report said. In Q3 of 2012 the occupancy rate was 92 percent, so occupancy rates demonstrate consistency, according to the Press of Atlantic City report. |
