Atlantic City Revenues Up for June11 July 2006ATLANTIC CITY, New Jersey – As reported by the Press of Atlantic City: "Remember June? It was a time of weddings, graduations and no casino shutdowns. "With no government-imposed shutdown to worry about then, the casinos racked up $428.1 million in revenue in June for a record-breaking month. "Slot revenue rose 3.7 percent to nearly $318.8 million and table-game winnings jumped 12.8 percent to $109.3 million for a 5.9 percent gain overall, according to figures released Monday by the state Casino Control Commission. "It was the sixth straight month that the gaming industry posted record-high revenue. Through June, the 12 casinos have won $2.5 billion, up 5.9 percent from the same period last year. "...June's results saw Borgata Hotel Casino & Spa break a two-month slump to return to its usual spot as the top-grossing gaming hall.
