Atlantic City Revenues Up

ATLANTIC CITY, New Jersey – As reported by the New Jersey Courier-Post: "The extra day in February contributed to a whopping 30.1 percent increase in gaming revenues compared with February 2003. The dozen casinos raked in a record $386.3 million, according to figures released Wednesday by the Casino Control Commission.

"Weather played an even more critical role.

"Last February, revenues declined 13.5 percent over the previous year as a result of horrendous weather, including a devastating snowstorm on Presidents Day Weekend, one of the more lucrative weekends in the calendar year. So a positive comparison wasn't hard to do…"
