Atlantic City revenue down 10 percent for April

11 May 2012

ATLANTIC CITY, New Jersey -- Gaming revenue at Atlantic City casinos fell 10 percent overall in April compared to the same month a year ago, The Press of Atlantic City reported.

This despite the opening of the city's newest casino Revel, the report said.

The city is facing challenges with the economy and competition from neighbouring states, but the expectation is that revenue should pick up during the summer months, according to the Press of Atlantic City report.
