Atlantic City: New plan for Hilton casino rescue

4 November 2011

ATLANTIC CITY, New Jersey -- A new plan emerged yesterday to rescue the Atlantic City Hilton Casino Resort, the Press of Atlantic City reported.

The new plan is for an "affiliate" of the Hilton's ownership to provide investment to keep the property open, the report said.

Bally's Tunica, along with Resorts Tunica will be foreclosed on in exchange, according to the Press of Atlantic City report.

Now it's up to the Division of Gaming Enforcement to examine and decide whether to accept the plan, the report noted.
