Atlantic City: Legends In Concert announces new summer lineup21 May 2012ATLANTIC CITY, New Jersey -- (PRESS RELEASE) -- With millions expected to “DO AC” this Memorial Day Weekend and throughout the summer, Legends In Concert at Bally’s Atlantic City is primed to take advantage. With two star-studded summer lineups, including a tribute to Whitney Houston, Legends In Concert is guaranteed to be a must “DO AC” show. Beginning Friday, May 25th and running through Wednesday, July 11th, The World’s Greatest Live Tribute Show will dazzle audiences with artists performing stirring tributes as Whitney Houston, Adele, Elvis Presley, Bobby Darin, Justin Timberlake and Marilyn Monroe. Performances will be held at 8pm Tuesdays through Fridays and Sundays, with duel performances on Saturdays at 7:30pm and 10pm, and a special matinee each Wednesday at 3pm (through June 27th). Tickets are now on sale for $32.50 for adults and $16.25 for children. Special group rates are also available. This incredible lineup pays tribute to the loving memory of New Jersey’s favorite native Whitney Houston and her phenomenal impact to music over the last three decades, as well as honoring powerful songstress Adele, the recent winner of six Grammy awards. Add to that the King of Rock and Roll Elvis Presley, the timeless tunes of Bobby Darin, the top hits of Justin Timberlake, and the incomparable presence of Marilyn Monroe and you have a “dream concert” experience. All performers sing with their own natural voices to a live band, featuring a brand new state-of-the-art set and production elements including sound, lighting and signature video projection that replicates the iconic superstars featured in all Legends in Concert productions. Additionally, each tribute artist performs with back up dancers and singers who enhance the authenticity of the Legend portrayed with their costumes and choreography. Legends in Concert is the longest running entertainment attraction in Atlantic City history and recently entered into a multi-year and multi-dimensional partnership with Bally’s Atlantic City. From the newly named Legends in Concert Theater (formerly The Palace Theater) with new seating, booths and cocktail tables to special promotions and events featuring Legends performers, guests and visitors to Bally’s Atlantic City will find the Legends theme, brand and personality throughout the casino and hotel that’s always in the “Center of the Action”. A Legends Memorabilia Wall, highlighting the 30 year history of Legends and featuring special memorabilia including costumes, musical instruments, archival media and other items is also being planned, as well as a designated “Dealertainer” gaming pit sponsored by Legends in Concert on the casino floor. The next summer lineup, the third of five planned for 2012, will begin on July 12th and run through September 2nd, with tribute artists performing as Whitney Houston, Adele, Elvis Presley, Barry White and Cher.
