Atlantic City Casino Win Up 4% for June

ATLANTIC CITY, New Jersey – As reported by the Press of Atlantic City Press: "In the final month of Borgata's inaugural year, the city's 12 casinos pulled in $395.3 million in gaming revenue, a 4 percent increase compared to the previous June.

"Borgata Hotel Casino & Spa, which opened on July 2, 2003, brought in $51 million last month to come in second overall.

"…Bally's Atlantic City was the industry leader with $53 million, which was about 11 percent less than the $60 million it won during the same month last year.

"Sands Casino Hotel was the only property to report a same-month increase in revenue, up 9.9 percent at $16.7 million.

"Caesars Atlantic City had the worst month, with revenue down 16 percent at $41.7 million…"
