Ascot: Two horses die on opening day18 June 2014ASCOT, England -- Two horses were lost in falls during the first racing day at Ascot, The Guardian reported. The first horse Case Statement fractured his fetlock and the other horse Sir Graham Wade fractured his pelvis, the report said. Both horses were administered first aid on the racecourse but once transferred and the extent of the injuries became apparent vets had to elect to put them both down, The Guardian report said. |
