Artists' Square to hit Celestia at The STRAT in Las Vegas

6 November 2019

(PRESS RELEASE) -- Every Friday, Saturday and Sunday, Celestia at The STRAT Hotel, Casino and SkyPod will transform its courtyard into the Artists’ Square, where local Las Vegas artists are invited display their artistic masterpieces at no cost from 6 to 7 p.m. and 8 to 9 p.m.

As the gateway to the city’s flourishing Arts District, the Artists’ Square will serve as a complimentary venue for locals to showcase stationary art installations and live artistic performances. Artists are welcome to display their stationary pieces for up to three months at a time and performance pieces are invited to perform for one weekend.

Set within a celestial world that brings the journey of our protagonists to life through elite acrobatics and dance, aerial feats, live music, state-of-the-art technology and overwhelming imagination, Celestia showcases a talented troupe of more than two dozen multicultural performers to create an eye-popping, immersive experience. From mind-blowing contortion to the Wheel of Death act, Celestia’s world-class performers include favorites from NBC’s “America’s Got Talent,” including Sergey and Sasha, the hand and head balancing father-daughter duo featured on seasons 10 and 13, as well as the Sandou Trio Russian Bar, who appeared on seasons 3 and 11 and were also featured in the hit film, “The Greatest Showman.”

Celestia has received rave reviews and accolades from fans and critics alike, including two Best of Las Vegas 2019 Awards from the Las Vegas Review-Journal. Voted by readers of the local Las Vegas newspaper, Celestia was named Gold for “Best Acrobatic Show” and Silver for “Best New Show.”

Suitable for audiences of all ages, the 70-minute show is perfect for both Las Vegas locals and those visiting from around the world. This awe-inspiring show, in a never-before-seen proprietary tent, is the first production of this magnitude to take place on this part of the Las Vegas Strip, which appropriately serves as the gateway to the city’s burgeoning Arts District.
