Arriva Card accepted at over 70 casinos

27 February 2007

LAS VEGAS, Nevada -– (PRESS RELEASE) -- Casino patrons who use an Arriva Card for cash advances are eligible for exclusive bonuses and promotions at over 70 well-known casino properties in Las Vegas, Atlantic City and other major gaming destinations across the country. The Arriva Card is the first credit card designed specifically for use in casinos.

The special offers are exclusively for Arriva Card holders and are described at ArrivaCard.com. Participating casinos include some of the biggest names in gaming. Among the promotions:

-- 25 - 50% reduced casino service fees on Arriva Card cash advance transactions.

-- Complimentary accommodations with qualifying Arriva Card purchases. -- Up to $500 in free slot play with eligible Arriva Card enrollment and/or usage.

-- $50 gift cards with Arriva Card cash advance purchases.

-- Free gifts, buffets and drinks with qualifying Arriva Card enrollment and/or transactions.

-- Up to 10,000 free players club points with play with eligible Arriva Card cash advance purchases.

-- Free cruise drawings just for signing up for an Arriva Card.

"Casinos have told us that patrons prefer using the Arriva Card for cash advances because the terms are so much more favorable than other credit cards'," said Todd Smith, VP for Card Services at Global Cash Access, Inc. (NYSE: GCA), parent of Arriva Card, Inc.

He added, "In fact, the average cash advance transaction with the Arriva Card is nearly twice the size of similar in-casino transactions with traditional credit cards. As a result, the Arriva Card is putting more cash on casino floors. The casinos offering bonuses and promotions to Arriva cardholders recognize this -- and are solidifying their relationships with patrons who are Arriva cardholders."

The Arriva Card was introduced to responsible in-casino cash advance customers just six months ago in a limited initial launch. Early data show that Arriva card usage among Arriva cardholders represents at least a 40% share of wallet; in other words, Arriva cardholders are using the card for over 40% of their casino credit card transactions. Arriva estimates that it's responsible for putting an additional $20 million on casino floors.
