Arizona off-track betting locations may reopen Saturday14 May 2020According to the Twitter feed from the Arizona Department of Gaming, off-track betting facilities in the state "may be operational as early as Saturday, May 16." "ADG is working diligently with Permittees for the re-opening of Off-Track Betting (OTB) locations. Adhering to CDC & ADHS guidelines, OTB's may be operational as early as Saturday, May 16," it read.
Arizona is home to around 50 OTB facilities in bars and restaurants that have been closed since mid-March due to the COVID-19 pandemic. In the past week, a number of Arizona land-based casinos have started to reopen their doors with new safety protocols in place. |
