Arizona Lottery NASCAR Races Announced

PHOENIX, Arizona – (PRESS RELEASE)-- The Arizona Lottery and Phoenix International Raceway (PIR) are proud to announce the Arizona Lottery 125 (AZL 125) NASCAR AutoZone Elite Division Series Race to be held on Thursday, Nov. 10, at 4 p.m. The Arizona Lottery 125 is the first of four races to be held over the four-day NASCAR Nextel Cup weekend scheduled for November 10-13 at Phoenix International Raceway. Promotions and events leading up to race day promise to pique the interest of NASCAR fans, Arizona Lottery players and non-players alike.

"The Arizona Lottery's games are all about fun, which dovetails nicely with our NASCAR week in November," said PIR President Bryan R. Sperber. "I can't think of a more natural tie-in for our lead off event than the Arizona Lottery and we are delighted to host the Arizona Lottery 125."

The six new Arizona Lottery NASCAR Scratchers tickets that were revealed today each feature one of the NASCAR giants and are priced at $3. They are sure to become favorites and even collector's items. Players can win up to $10,000, or even a trip to the NASCAR race of their choice "instantly."

If a ticket holder doesn't win a prize instantly, the second prizes tied to the ticket are just as appealing. Tickets with the word "entry" can be entered to win a NASCAR race with the same features as the "instant" trip prize or NASCAR Merchandise Prize Packs containing authentic merchandise from the drivers on the Arizona Lottery NASCAR Scratchers ticket game. Any player that purchases the Arizona Lottery NASCAR Scratchers ticket is eligible for 20 percent discounts on tickets for the NASCAR Nextel Cup weekend scheduled for Nov. 10-13 at Phoenix International Raceway.
