Arizona company proposes Mississippi casino

MISSISSIPPI -- As reported by the Tunica Times: "OMF, LLC of Scottsdale, AZ has plans to develop 220 acres in Tunica County as a gaming site, according to a legal notice of intent that started last week in The Tunica Times.

"'We the members of OMF, LLC, intend to make application for site approval and a gaming license for an establishment, vessel or cruise vessel to be located near Robinsonville....,' the notice begins.

"The site lies south of the Hollywood Casino and north of property proposed for development by Myriad Botanical, according to project manager Mills Morgan.

"Morgan said in an interview Tuesday, May 27, that environmental studies would determine the final project, but that company principals would like to develop the site with three casinos containing 150,000 square feet of gaming floor, a 500-room hotel and a 150,000 square foot convention center/entertainment venue..."
