Arizona Casino Proposal Presented

NATCHEZ, Arizona – As reported by the Natchez Democrat: "Expect a Miracle Inc. is proposing a $7 million casino for the Roth Hill riverfront site — not counting millions more in land-based development.

"That's according to a copy of the company's proposal, which was presented to city officials last week and released by the city Tuesday.

"Aldermen voted Tuesday to allow Mayor Phillip West and City Attorney Walter Brown to negotiate further with the New York-based company.

"Brown said no timeline for finalizing the agreement had been set.

"…Anthony Lucente, spokesman for Expect a Miracle Inc., said Tuesday he wanted to talk with consultants Artie Armstrong and David Kennedy to get specifics of what took place in Tuesday's aldermen before commenting on the company's proposal.

"…The total cost of the development would be an estimated $15 million, according to the proposal…"
