Aristocrat Game Approved in New Jersey

1 March 2005

LAS VEGAS – (PRESS RELEASE) -- Aristocrat Technologies, Inc. today announced that its Cash Express Hyperlink four-level progressive game was recently approved by the New Jersey Division of Gaming Enforcement for introduction into the second largest gaming jurisdiction in the United States.

"This approval allows us to introduce Hyperlink to the New Jersey market and paves the way for additional approvals of our other linked, four-level progressives -- Millioni$er(R), Cash Express Penny Train(TM) and Jackpot Carnival(TM)," said Gavin Isaacs, President of Aristocrat Technologies, Inc. "Our MKVI(TM) video slots are delivering strong performance for gaming operators in Atlantic City, and we expect that players in the region will be equally as responsive to the four-level mystery progressives and great package offered by our Cash Express Hyperlink."

Cash Express debuted in the United States in 2002 and is widely available in Nevada, California, Indiana, Detroit and most Native American casinos nationwide.

In Cash Express, a random trigger signals the train whistle to blow during play on Aristocrat's MKVI(TM) base game. The lucky player is transported into the second-screen bonus with five spinning reels. The player touches a button to stop each reel, which reveals a number. The numbers are added together to accumulate the score and the score determines which of the four levels of jackpots are won. Once in the bonus round, a player is guaranteed to win one of the four progressive jackpots.

Aristocrat Technologies' Hyperlink progressive suite of products includes Cash Express; Cash Express Penny Train; Jackpot Carnival; and Millioni$er, which offers players the chance to win up to $1 million jackpot on a penny slot.

"Our Hyperlink products have been extremely well received across the country with both repeat players and tourists," said Kent Young, Aristocrat Technologies' Vice President of Marketing. "Players love the excitement and entertainment generated by the four-level jackpot combined with a strong Aristocrat MKVI(TM) base game. And we package the product with customized slot bases, chairs, and plasma screens that offer 3-D graphics and high-tech sounds that only add to the fun of playing the game."

Young said that as a result of Aristocrat's tremendous success with its Hyperlink series, the Company will introduce two additional Hyperlink games this year -- Pele Legendary Goals(TM) and Zorro(TM).
