Argosy needs to referendum vote to continue

SIOUX CITY, Iowa -- Voters are to vote in a referendum on the future of the Argosy Casino, KPTH reported.

Voters have twice previously approved the gaming vote, the report noted.

If the referendum fails there would be significant job loss as the casino boat employs 355 people, thus the casino is campaigning hard on the vote, KPTH said.
